Ending Your Lease
Let us Know You’re Moving Out
The first step to ending your lease is to complete the Notice to Vacate form. Completing this form starts your move out. Once you complete the form, our team receives the information and begins the process of moving you out of the home. Generally, our leases require a 60-day advance notice, but please check your lease for your specific requirements.

Ending your Lease Early
If you need to end your lease early, you will be subject to an Early Termination Fee equal to twice your monthly rent payment

Instead of ending your lease early, consider transferring to another Progress Residential® home. With Progress Residential®, you can transfer from one home to another at any point during your lease. Our Home-to-Home Transfer program doesn’t require you to reapply or requalify, and you won’t have to pay new Application or Lease Administration fees. Learn more about that option here.
