Dave Feldman
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of Progress Residential, Dave Feldman leads the company's growth and strategic initiatives. Since joining Progress in 2014, he has played a pivotal role in building core business functions and scaling its single-family rental platform. Under his leadership, Progress has evolved into the leading private operator of single-family rental homes in the U.S.
A seasoned executive with nearly 25 years of experience, he combines leadership in real estate asset management, operations, and corporate strategy to foster innovation and long-term sustainable growth.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science from USC’s Marshall School of Business and the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and is a frequent speaker and thought leader on housing, business strategy, and operational excellence.
Brian Buffington
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Brian Buffington oversees the company’s financial operations, including strategic planning, reporting, performance management, and long-term value creation.
Since joining in 2021, Brian has helped align financial strategy with business objectives, fostered cross-functional collaboration, and led initiatives that support sustainable growth, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction. He has also played a key role in driving transformation and enhancing shareholder value through strategic financial stewardship.
Before Progress, Brian spent 17 years at Honeywell in senior finance roles. He served as CFO for several global divisions, including Fire & Security Products, where he led financial planning across a broad portfolio.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Brandon Parise
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Brandon Parise leads all aspects of the company’s people strategy, including culture, talent, compensation, performance, and workforce planning.
Brandon joined Progress in 2020, with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources and industrial relations. He was previously Chief People Officer at EXOS, supporting more than 5,000 employees at over 500 locations. He also served as Head of Human Resources at Campus Crest Communities and held sr. management roles at Hostess Brands and Pepsi Bottling Group/PepsiCo, as well as management roles at NextEra Energy/Florida Power and Light.
Brandon holds an M.A. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Political Science from Allegheny College.
Jennifer Schumann
General Counsel
As General Counsel, Jennifer Schumann oversees all legal operations, regulatory and corporate compliance, and risk and litigation management. With extensive experience in real estate, litigation, and leadership, she provides strategic legal guidance that supports business objectives and helps safeguard the organization from legal and operational risks.
Before joining Progress, Jennifer held senior in-house legal roles within the real estate and property management sectors, overseeing legal strategy, compliance programs, risk management, due diligence, and transactional matters. Earlier in her career, she practiced at law firms in Chicago, advising clients on real estate transactions, community association matters, and complex litigation.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Louisville and a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University. She has also served on several nonprofit and professional boards and has been recognized for her leadership within the business community.
