Progress Residential Divisional Vice President Saralena Trenkel has earned a 2025 Women in Real Estate Award from ConnectCRE, which recognizes leaders whose innovation, integrity and impact are helping shape the future of the real estate industry.
Trenkel leads Progress Residential’s operations across Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina, overseeing four regions and nine markets. She drives performance and operational excellence, leads cross-functional initiatives, and champions change management strategies that improve processes, elevate resident satisfaction and strengthen team engagement.
Throughout nearly a decade with Progress, Trenkel has advanced through a series of leadership roles and built a reputation for collaboration, accountability and innovation. She led critical safety and response efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, spearheaded new Salesforce dashboards that deliver real-time operational insights, and launched the Resident Connection Journey, a program that strengthens resident relationships and provides actionable feedback early in the lease cycle.
